Microsoft Word Excel And Powerpoint Download For Mac
That's what's so interesting. My registered account works fine for Excel but not for Word, Powerpoint, or Outlook. I've tried logging off and re-logging back in to see if that would fix the problem but the problem persists. I checked the version and all (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook) are Version 15.13.1 (150807).
Dear Microsoft for Mac Community. Need your help: On 5 March Microsoft made available Office 2016 for Mac Preview: I installed this right when this announcement came out because it was free to all Mac users using Yosemite. Since then I've been mostly only using Excel 2016 and ignoring he rest of the product line.
However.recently I tried to use Word 2016 for the first time the other day and the product is requiring me to 'Activate' in order to use it, while Excel 2016 does not require this. I've since discovered that Powerpoint 2016 and Outlook 2016 also requires 'Activation'. My only assumption is that because I did not 'open' or 'use' Word 2016, Powerpoint 2016, and Outlook 2016 during the preview period, the products did not 'Activate' like it did for Excel 2016, which works just fine. 2 questions: 1.
Has anyone else run into his problem and were you able to solve it? Does anyone know how to solve this so that the rest of my Office 2016 Mac suite would start working? I have the same problem. I was using the free preview version (that as far as I know should sill be active) and I was able to use all the programs (Word, Excel, Power Point). After summer vacation I launched word before applying the new preview update and at that point Word kept asking me the activation.
This does not happen for the other programs, I suppose, because I launched them only after updating them (which, I think, renewed the temporary free preview license). In addition, if I launch word, then also Excel does not save anymore as the un-activated word. But, if I start with excel, it works fine. I applied all the following updates but this did not change the situation. My feeling is that some registry entry somewhere remained locked when I tried to use word before updating it. I would like to buy the stand-alone version of Office 2016 (i.e.
Without Office 365) but it is still not available and up to that moment I would like to use the free preview (as was disclaimed when I installed it: 'free preview available until product is available for purchase'). I hope someone can help. Thank you in advance, A.
