I wanted to do a clean install of OS X Mavericks on my 2011 Macbook Air (13 inch). I erased the Hard disk using the Recovery Utilities console. After that it hung. So I restarted the machine. However, this time, instead of going to the Recovery Utilities thing, it goes to Internet Recovery. Unfortunately, I am behind a proxy server (which cannot be configured in the Internet Recovery). That's why I would like to create a USB Recovery Disk so I can recover from there.
My only other computer is a Windows 7 PC. How can I create the OS X Recovery disk from the Windows 7 machine?
