El Capitan Iso For Virtualbox Without Mac

It’s been a while I know but I managed to look and see if VBox is supporting OS X for Sierra yet and the guest OS list that they only support Mac OS X Server (Leopard, Snow Leopard) as a Guest OS. The Host OS V’box image has no designation at all. Supposedly it runs on any OS X. The “commercial” $upport is for OS X but they only support them as Host OS. Online video downloader from any site for mac.

No guest OS X. Anyway I was wondering how you got info that El Capitan is supported by V’Box 5.1.* as a guest OS and conversely how that Sierra is not? Part 2:
It’s possible that you can do the same things with Linux tools.
Are you referring to acetoneiso2 and/or poweriso with hfsprogs and possibly dmg2img installed also? Shooting games for mac free download. Is there some other way to convert dmg (hsf) to iso9660? As mentioned, no MAC here (and no usable windoz either) so it’s with Linux or not at all.

BUMP this too,;).
Prerequisites:
Should MAC computer(e.g., macbook) be in that list? The 'Apple’s Software restore tool ' does not exist on linux, or, rather, I could find no corresponding tool that can be used “ to apply a DMG disk image to a selected partition or mount point on a file system” as the asr is supposed to do, So if my list above won’t work on an Intel/AMD Linux system to make a bootable ISO, prbly should add MAC to the pre-reqs. I cannot run 64-bit guests on this older (test) system.

AMD-V is required and Opteron 285 does not have it. Iguess it’s time to put the Nehalem system back into operation. I didn’t know VBox supported macOS guests, for the longest time I thought it was only VMWare.

I haven’t tried this in a long time and if I do in future it will be with QEMU/KVM to use my actual hardware in paravirtualized VM for better performance and hopefully avoid glitches I remember experiencing. Has anyone used the VM with recent macOS for a while and not had any graphical glitches? I remember anything using Quartz(2D Accelleration or something I think) would render broken, so some apps were unusable. No idea if recent macOS uses this still now that they have Metal, my last VM experience was in 2014 I think with OSX.

The instructions below, found on [1], worked for me after a download of El Capitan from the App Store.
