Given the drive was partitioned/formatted with a Mac partitioning scheme and filesystem the Windows 7 system didn't recognize it. No problem.I fired up Disk Management and attempted to delete the two partitions created by the Mac. I was able to delete the 'data' partition without problem. However I was unable to delete the EFI (about 200MB) partition. No problem.it's only 200MB.

Unfortunately I was unable to format the unallocated space. In order to reclaim this space I had to plug the USB drive back into my Mac and use it to create a FAT32 partition on the USB drive. Does anyone know how I could use Windows 7 itself to repartition the USB drive and not have to rely on an alternative system to wipe out the Mac partition information?
