I too am experiencing a similar issue. As a company we use Gmail/Gcal and all users access these two tools through chrome for windows browser. One of my users sent out a calendar invitation from google calendar yesterday to a client, but never received confirmation back from the client that they would be attending the meeting. My user called the client to confirm and the client let the user know that they had indeed clicked on the the 'Yes' link to confirm attendance and that the calendar event had been entered into the client's outlook calendar.
